Thank you for your interest in Cap Cana Heritage School. We are a small, diverse educational community located in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. We are an American-type school that uses a U.S. based curriculum with English as the primary language of instruction. Our guiding values are wisdom, integrity and leadership, which guide our emphasis on student learning, growth and development. We are recognized by the Dominican Ministry of Education and accredited by U.S. based AdvancEd/SACS.
Children from three years old begin to take classes in English, with the support of their teachers. We believe that students learn best by working with others, and also through differentiated instruction. Knowing each student, their strengths and potential for growth are central to the CCHS philosophy.
Students who are interested in attending our school must take a series of entrance exams that measure student knowledge of English, mathematics and Spanish. These tests must be taken in order to make any admissions decisions.
Upon delivery of the documents required, a testing date will be assigned for the assessment of your child and a meeting with the Principal will be scheduled for the same day. The results will be given 7 working days after the testing date.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you very much again for your interest in CCHS.
