March's coffee with the counselors
CWC presented Nutrition and its Learning Impact on Children on March 15, 2017 with guest speakers Dr. Rosaeva Taveraz and Owner of Balicana Sinuhé. The presentation opened with defining good vs. poor dieting, how to read food labels and what each component meant. It then continued to engage parents on the effects of poor dieting with an emphasis in the classroom and how parents can engage their children on a healthier lifestyle. Check out the link provided to view the presentation and awesome resources for you and your child.

welcome back nicole betances!!!
Former student Nicole Betances, is currently a Student Ambassador at Savannah College of Art and Design, also known as SCAD. On December 8, 2016, Nicole came back to engage our students in a brief presentation about the benefits of attending SCAD, how she's following her passion, and what college life is ACTUALLY like vs. what you hear. Thanks again Nicole coming back to share your experience.
Great Participation. Thank you to all who came to learn more about keeping your child safe in this virtual world. I look forward to seeing new and familiar faces January 25th for our NEXT Coffee with Counselors: Helping Children Communicate and Manage their Emotions.
