Kindergarten Graduation

altAt the end of each year, the CCHS Kindergarten class holds a graduation ceremony as a sign of moving from preschool into elementary.  Parents and families gather together to see their children wear their first cap and gown; a sign of what is to come when they become seniors in high school.

High School Graduation

Each June, CCHS says good-bye to the graduating Seniors by hosting a graduation ceremony.  The ceremony serves as a closure to their years of hard work and dedication at CCHS, and as a new beginning as we usher them into the world and wish them well in their next endeavors.

CCHS Christmas Shows

Each December the entire school prepares a Christmas show for the CCHS community.  This is a time for students to showcase their musical talents in song or dance, as they each tell their own special messages of the Christmas holiday.

Spring Fair

Each spring, CCHS students and families gather for an afternoon of games, prizes, food and entertainment as a way to build community.  The day ends with the annual CCHS Talent Show, where students and staff showcase their talents.

CCHS Spirit Fest and Family Run

sf-frEach fall, CCHS families gather for an afternoon of games, food and entertainment to celebrate Family Month.  The school carnival ends in a Family Fun Run, where students, families and the community participate in a 5K or 10K walk-run event.  The event is sponsored by the PTA and local businesses.

Language Week

sdlcchslogoEach year, students investigate and celebrate the importance of language in our lives.  This year‚Äôs theme was, ‚ÄúLanguage: Your Door to the World‚Äù, where students expressed the importance of different languages and their impact on the world, ranging from Spanish and French, to the languages of math and technology.
